Rahul, a young and charming consultant who works in San Diego, California, goes on a business trip to London where he meets beautiful Priya. They feel an instant attraction towards each other; However, Priya being shy and un-trusting, holds back her emotions when Rahul returns to San Diego. Rahul also finds himself getting attracted to Mona, a co-worker in his office. As the story progresses, Rahul is torn between his feelings for Priya as well as Mona.
As we follow the two love stories, we wait for the inevitable reckoning to be made between love and true love. Lost in London is an exploration of finding and recognizing true love.
In this modern age of dating and the fast paced demand of both our professional and personal lives- it’s important to not lose our grasp on what our souls still yearn for; and that would be a true lifelong and eternal connection between two people who share a deep affinity for one another. True love is especially hard to find but if it finally comes calling, and you’re not careful and attentive, it could slip away forever.
Lost In London is a story that reminds us of how fleeting relationships can be in our fast paced world. It takes us into the lives of Priya and Rahul who share their time with one another and an attraction begins to grow in a long distance relationship. But another relationship threatens to rip Priya and Rahul apart. Can they survive the challenge?
Lost In London is perfect if you are looking for a fast read and want a little romantic interlude. It will make you think about what is important in a relationship. Although the length of this story may have been designed to be short, I encourage the author to explore and to develop her characters and plot more thoroughly in future novels. This is a good start.
I give Lost In London 4 Stars.
